PHILIPPINES Free Land?

Asked: PHILIPPINES Free Land?

To those who are offended by me asking this question, just don't click on this question and don't answer.

Yes I am asking this same queston multiple times. I am trying to get more answer as some people only will answer the question when it is first posted up (when they see it). And I am trying to get more answers. People say there IS free or really cheap land, so if you don't think there is, please just say you don't think there is any and leave it at that. Please no rude, arrogant comments. Thanks icon smile PHILIPPINES Free Land?

Pinoy ako.
Although I am American born, don't speak too much tagalog and you can really tell by my appearance that I am not from there.
Anyone know any place where the land is free to live on?
I live in America and I just don't like it, the weather, rude people and the run-in-a-circle financial life.
I just want to move to a nice warm tropical place, with nicer people, and live off the land for free (build my own house on free "property" and get my own food from nature) or cheap (like a farm).
I can even live in unpopulated areas. Basically the wild.
I am fine with all of that, but would prefer a still modern lifestyle, but a whole lot cheap/easier living.
Also no places where there are rebels near that will try to kidnap someone in my family because they are American. I don't have much money and want to get away from problems and just live happier, although I know it may be harder physically (more labor).
I have thought about every aspect of these lifestyles so no need to question me.
If you know any places, please let me know.
Salamat po.

Also would prefer the northern part of the Philippines, but is not necessary.

Basically I just want to get away from modern man's crazy stuff; their rudeness, laws telling you how to live or else, somewhere with no need to pay for house mortgage, insurance, and the land and still not even really own it.

Also are the squatters really frowned upon or do people understand they just are trying to survive and are not looking to just take advantage of people?

Victim of identity theft, theft of property, vehicle burglary question?

Timford86 Asked: Victim of identity theft, theft of property, vehicle burglary question?

the short story is.. while I was home on R&R from Afghanistan my wife and I went to the grocery store, while we were there her car was broken into and they stole her purse which contained multiple forms of ID, Mail that had her social on it, phone etc. with a value of 1500+. Police were called, and they filed the report, as was happening my wife was cancelling all her cards. She was notified while I was speaking with the police that someone was trying to use her USAA Debit card but was entering the wrong pin at the mall across the street. The police went to the location, but were to late. A few days later, and a few supplements added to the report my wife checks her credit and notices that a T-Mobile account was oppened with 4 lines. We go to T-mobile prove its a fraud account and they provide us with the phone numbers of the oppened accounts. We provide this to the police again, and at this point there still has not been a detective assigned to the case. T-Mobile calls the police to let them know they have a camera, that would have the persons on it, and as well there worker could provide accurate description. A few more days go by, and finally someone is assigned. Using the information in all the reports the detective makes and arrest, and the girl (1 of the 4) admitts to using my wifes information to open the accounts, but not the burglary of the vehicle. As well she isn't giving up the names of the other involved. Well, she is but only "street names". The DA is charging her with theft of property and ID theft of 5+ but less then 10 peices of identification. My wife and I feel as though the arrest would have not come if not for all the supplement reports we made from information that we discovered on our own accord, and they do not seem to be interested in going after the other 3 involved even though the other three have gone back to T-Mobile and have tried to re activate phones under new accounts, but were unable to due to the phones themselves being listed as fraudulent. My questions are: 1. Should we write a complaint to the Attorney General due to the fact that the PD and detective have yet to pull any videos from the stores that claim they would have the arrested person and other suspects on camera? 2. my wife recieved mail from the DA asking the total loss of property cost, and any expenses we had incrued due to the theft, can we put the new alarm system we put on our home due to it only being placed because these "thugs" have our home address? 3. The detective said that this might not even go to court, is this because she may take a deal for pleading guilty? or because the crime to them is not serious? 4. We reported the theft to the MP's as well due to my wifes Miltary dependant card being in the purse, the MP's said that the PD was supposed to report that to them, but that never happend. Would this be able to be inlcuded in the compaint to the Attorney General? 5. It was the dependent ID the girl tampered with and altered the picture in, to commit the fraud and open up a T-mobile account. The ID says it is Government property. Should this be charged as a crime as well, on top of the Theft of property, and ID theft?
Sorry for all the questions, we want to remain pro-active in this, and have placed fraud alerts, credit freeze's, and reported everything to the FTC. We feel lucky to have been this pro-active in this in not allowing them to get away with anything other than the stolen property from the car. Oh, as well the girl before arrested called USAA to try and re-active my wifes cards, but was unable too due to the security questions being answerd incorrectly. I feel like they should be charging more than they are, is there a reason they are not?, and also could this be because they have not spoken to USAA, T-mobile, the MP's to get the proof they need to charge more?

The housing partnership that has taken over our council properties has parked 4 shipping containers?

ashley g Asked: The housing partnership that has taken over our council properties has parked 4 shipping containers?

roughly 15 feet in front of my house on some grassland. The first i heard about this wasa letter from the partnership two days ago.Now I have all the work vans coming and going with their engines running whilst they get wood, paint, etc,. in and out of these four containers. They said this was the only land they owned that was suitable for this size of container and it will only be for a few months.Unfortunately, my property is up for sale and this will certainly scare any prospective buyers away.Do I have any recourse? many thanks for any help.

How do you best deal with a bad landlord after moving out?

Tanner C Asked: How do you best deal with a bad landlord after moving out?

My family and I lived in the landlord's house (in Illinois) for less than 3 months of a 12 month lease. Now after evicting us because she wanted to move back into the property she is falsely claiming damages and repairs in order to keep the deposit for herself. We have photo evidence to the contrary.

Is it worth taking her to court for a $750 deposit and $400 of prepaid rent?

Addidtionally, I have considered filing separate lawsuits (If I cannot get the money back I want to at least cost her that amount in legal fees):
one for building code violations in the home.
one for the presence of black mold in the residence
one for discrimination against us for having children
one for altering the terms and conditions of the lease
